Navigate an accelerated path from tactical execution to strategic leadership by mastering foundational tasks such as recruitment list development, creative management, and JEB’s specific communication and self-management protocols. Transition from supporting a team to leading client calls, identifying growth trends, and developing strategic plans. Prepare for a promotion to Affiliate Manager, assuming full accountability for independently achieving client revenue goals and executing complex program strategies.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
Key areas of responsibility
- Affiliate recruitment list development
- Affiliate program newsletter development and delivery
- Client call meeting agenda and recap summary
- Compiling of weekly client reports
- Text links creation and upload
- Creative uploading and removal
- Performance data analysis and metric compilation
- Affiliate application processing
- Activation list creation and tracking
- Review and execute client specific Standard Operating Procedures
- Communicate with affiliate partners
- Paid Search Compliance monitoring
- Coupon code auditing and suppression
- Invoicing number preparation
Account Management
- Assist in New Client Onboarding
- Proactively oversee client email distribution inboxes and Slack channels, responding or escalating to Affiliate Manager when necessary
- Strategic Planning – Assist in development of comprehensive strategic plans for each client on a quarterly and/or annual basis
- Manage Expectations – Keep clients well informed of progress on their behalf, forecasted growth and production and any potential issues, obstacles, challenges and opportunities in the future. Ensure that their expectations are in line with ours. Use the following tactics when appropriate:
- Up-Front Contracts
- Re-Enrollment
- Saying no to keep clients focused on program goals
- Anticipate and Resolve Problems – Work to identify issues or problems in advance and ensure timely notification and resolution quickly. As often as possible, identify and resolve issues before the client is aware.
- Client Communications – Provide frequent, detailed, and professional communications to our clients following our established guidelines and processes.
- Account Assessment – Be able to determine and know as much as possible, how the program is doing, how the client views the program and our performance and how it is perceived internally.
- Revenue Goals – Work with clients to develop realistic and achievable revenue or lead goals (performance goals), determining the growth that is important to them to ensure proper strategies for growth can be implemented; execute strategies and processes to ensure those goals are met.
- Planning – Assist in development and execution of quarterly plans for all affiliate programs in your area of responsibility in order to ensure their success, meet recruiting and activation targets, and ensure proper strategy alignment.
- Day-to-day – Efficiently and effectively respond to client “fires” and inquiries same day, ensuring that action items are executed, frequently monitor progress, tracking, and activity of the clients’ programs.
- Affiliate Relationships – Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with affiliates on behalf of clients. Work with each partner to provide them with the items they need to be successful, responding in a timely fashion, educating them on our clients’ behalf and ensuring competent follow-up and follow through.
- Recruiting, Activation, and Optimization – Actively pursue new affiliates, assist with optimizing current affiliates to ensure proper and comprehensive marketing on behalf of our clients and work with affiliate partners to maximize their sales/activity for our clients.
- Create recruitment lists to help grow and diversify each affiliate program you are supporting.
- Create activation lists and execute activation campaigns
- Complete FTC and placement audits as needed
- Complete audits of authorized and unauthorized use of codes for programs your team manages
- Reporting & Insight – Create and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on time every time. Provide insight into successes, challenges, failures, top performers, and future opportunities. Identify trends and supply clients with our best guidance as to why their program performed the way it did and develop strategies to either take advantage of success or turn around lackluster performance.
Qualifications

- Industry Mastery – Develop a comprehensive understanding of our industry and other online marketing channels. Demonstrate ability to broaden your online marketing knowledge and ability to grow as an online marketer.
- Managing Change – Manage clients’ programs in the midst of a constant sea of change, while maintaining professionalism and positive outlook.
- Develop new and innovative affiliate marketing strategies that align with our client’s goals.
- Demonstrate and execute a general curiosity of each client’s goals, obstacles, nuances, limitations, competitors, initiatives and general and specific customer and business information. Always be learning about the client and how our services can fit in with their goals.
- Demonstrate ability to build strong partner relationships. Engage the relentless pursuit of improvement on each client program, each initiative, and how we live up to our stated values and standards.
- Demonstrate ability to execute JEB processes and systems.
- ABL (Always Be Learning) – whether that is leadership, training, relevant webinars, technical aptitude, skill development, customer profiles, general marketing principles and digital marketing.
